We regularly have merge problems with Svn as we are all working on our branches. I initially thought these would eventually go away through increased user experience, but I&#039;m now at the point that it shouldn&#039;t be this hard. Git certainly looks like it is worth investigating. 

BTW there does seem to be a Git Gui for windows, but you&#039;re right in that there&#039;s nothing quite as integrated as Tortoise.</description>
